Ravel
Ravel is my home town even if I am not living there any more.
It is still important to me.
The village is well known in the area thanks to its castle
and the wonderfull
landscape seen from the top of it.
This is the place where I use to be.
Ravel is located between Clermont-Ferrand and Thiers.
Thiers is well known thanks to its knives factories and I recommand you to see
one of them if you like knives.
Clermont-Ferrand is industrial town with 3 museums:
- musee Bargouin
- musee du Ranquet
- musee Lecoq
In the Ranquet museum you can see the Pascal's calculator indeed Pascal was
born in Clermont-Ferrand next to the Cathedral.
From Ravel there is a wonderfull landscape because of the mountain and it is
probably the most interesting place in France.
It is wild natural and green as nature should be.
